I’ve started implementing a new routine of weekly and monthly reflections this year, and there’s this one question that’s been rolling around in my mind all week, so I thought I’d ask you too:
How much farther along would you be right now on your self-love journey if you had stuck with that habit, routine or behavior that you promised yourself you would start to implement ages ago?
This question challenged me to be really honest with myself.
Because here’s what I know to be true…
We often overcomplicate things.
So much so that we start out with a ton of excitement, and then we give up on ourselves and we wind up right back where we started.
Or even worse because now we’re beating ourselves up for not following through this time.
This is not a judgement or a criticism because I’ve been there, and so I know intimately how that feels ✋🏾
But I also know that if that’s a cycle that you find yourself in, that at some point if you want something different, you’ve got to do something different.
I believe that showing up and loving on yourself, consistently day after day, one foot in front of the other, can and WILL change your life and your relationship with yourself.
But ONLY if you’re willing to INVEST in you and follow through!
So if you’re ready and willing to show up and make it happen…
